Dice Roller FAQ
What dice types are available?
We support all standard RPG dice: D4 (tetrahedron), D6 (cube), D8 (octahedron), D10 (decahedron), D12 (dodecahedron), D20 (icosahedron), and D100 (percentile). Each has its own color for easy identification.
Can I roll multiple dice at once?
Yes! Use the slider to select 1-10 dice to roll simultaneously. Results are displayed individually and summed up with any modifiers you add. This is perfect for damage rolls, ability checks, or any situation requiring multiple dice.
What is the modifier for?
Modifiers add or subtract from your total roll. Common uses include ability modifiers in D&D (+2 for strength), difficulty adjustments, or homebrew rules. Set positive (+) or negative (-) values as needed.
Are the rolls truly random?
Yes! We use JavaScript's Math.random() seeded with high-entropy sources when available. Each die roll is independent and has an equal probability for all faces, just like physical dice.
